EX-25 Stapler Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Does any downward pressure need to be applied to the EX-25 in order to operate?

No pressure needed, the automatic trigger senses when you slide in the paper, and staples automatically.

Q. How do I load a full strip of staples into the Stapler?

First, install 6 new AA Alkaline batteries or connect the stapler to the included AC Power Adapter. Next, press the "PUSH" button on the back of the stapler.

The staple tray should pop out slightly allowing you to pull the tray out the rest of the way by hand. If you feel some resistance when pulling, this is completely normal. The stapler has a very solid build, so don't be afraid to give the tray a good pull.

Once staples are loaded, push the tray in until you hear a "click" sound. You're ready to go!

Q. What kind of staples should I use?

We recommend standard full-strip staples. Standard staples are considered to be 1/4” or 26/6. The 26 represents the guage of the staple (wire thickness), and the 6 represents the leg length of the staple in millimeters. Since 6 millimeters is about equal to 1/4", you'll see most brands advertise thier staples as standard or 1/4". To prevent jamming, we recommend using high quality staples.

Q. How is your product Eco-friendly?

We manufacture our products with materials that are RoHS compliant. That means our products are free from known hazardous substances found in many of todays electronic products. In addition, for each sale we make, EcoElectronix donates to environmental charities such as Rainforest Alliance and Earthjustice.

Q. What is the range of the Staplers adjustable throat depth (also known as staple depth)

You can adjust the stapling depth to as shallow as .25” and as deep as 1.5” in 1/10" intervals. The stapling trigger is very sensitive. Little force is needed when sliding in your stack of papers.
